The private markets tax operations team needs to expand its tax operations capabilities covering both technical and operational aspects. The position as junior tax operations manager includes the following activities:   Assist in the annual tax compliance process regarding tax filings and reporting obligations for fund and other investment entities in jurisdictions world-wide; Assist in coordination of information collection and information provision for the annual U.S. tax filings, including Federal and State income taxes, for our investment vehicles and SPVs in cooperation with external service providers; Assist in the provision of information filings and tax factor reporting to our investors; Provide support in FATCA and CRS ("AEOI") matters; Coordinate external service providers (e.g. administrators, tax advisors); Establish and oversee operational tax procedures and controls; Maintain internal tax data and document retention processes; Monitor changes in international and domestic taxation rules and assess their impact on LGT CP’s products and their investors; Participation in tax projects related to process developments, and implementation of regulatory and/or tax law changes. Requirements Interest in tax compliance and process optimization; BA in finance or accounting; advanced degree preferred; Masters of Accounting, MBA, JD and Master in tax,  L.L.M. or equivalent.; 3-5 years of experience in international tax (advisory and/or asset management, private equity, hedge funds, or real estate) with exposure to U.S. tax, ideally also exposure to FATCA, CRS, and Chapter 3 withholding tax; Experience in and understanding of the international tax issues relating to fund structuring asset management and the distributions of investment funds, including double tax treaties, investor tax reporting, and cross-border VAT issues; Team player, self-motivated with the ability to work independently; Well organized with a high attention to detail; Good communication skills, assertive, confident and trustworthy; Very good language skills in English and German (verbally and in writing) are required. The Private Markets Financial Operations Treasury team is looking to expand its capabilities covering credit financing and related reporting. The Assistant Treasury Manager role requires rigid attention to detail and strong analytical skills are essential. The successful candidate must possess prior experience in treasury.
