As the Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, safety, and overall functionality of our campus facilities. You will play a key role in ensuring that our environment reflects our commitment to excellence, providing a welcoming and luxurious atmosphere for students, staff, and visitors.
Facilities Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of all school facilities, ensuring they meet the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality.
- Supervise maintenance staff and external contractors, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of issues.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for all facilities and equipment.
- Oversee facility renovations and upgrades, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Manage the key card access system, including programming, control, and maintenance to ensure secure access to buildings and facilities.
- Monitor and manage inventory of supplies and equipment, ensuring availability for all operational needs.
- Collaborate with school administration to develop policies and procedures related to facility usage and safety.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings and grounds, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for facility-related inquiries from staff, students, and parents.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- High level of written & spoken German & english
- Proven experience in property or facilities management, preferably in a school or hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in budgeting and financial management related to facilities operations.
- Knowledge of building maintenance, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Experience with key card systems and programming preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
