vacancy for our Basel based client in the Banking sector

Your tasks:

• Lead operational support to ensure business-critical Static and Reference Data applications exceed service expectations
• Analyse and design business processes around GoldenSource reference and market data products, translating business needs into technical specifications
• Drive enhancement and maintenance of business applications and infrastructure, supporting regular upgrades
• Contribute to key projects, ensuring delivery on milestones, deliverables, and budgets
• Manage changes to applications, mitigate risks, and communicate with key stakeholders
• Develop and support test plans, including user acceptance testing for Reference and Market Data projects

Your experience/knowledge:

• 5+ years’ experience supporting business applications in a banking environment
• At least 2 years’ experience customising GoldenSource applications or similar static/reference data management solutions (Java, SQL, Powershell, Python)
• Strong technical knowledge of Linux and Oracle environments
• Track record of contributing to large, business-critical projects
• Hands-on experience with source control management, automated testing, and deployment processes
• Language skills: English

• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with strong attention to detail
• Clear and effective communicator with the ability to lead workshops and produce documentation
• Proactive, team-oriented, and customer-focused approach
