We are looking for a seasoned Sales and Tendering Manager to develop, plan and ensure execution of the sales and tendering strategy for the Global Center of Competence eMobility (GCoC eMobility) as part of the Global Product Group Grid and Power Quality Solutions. Are you a personality who is eager to set both qualitative and quantitative targets for technology and engineering packages and services associated as well as to drive the development of the e-Mobility sales pipeline in collaboration with the HBUs and other Hitachi entities proactively whilst sustaining a healthy sales process. From pipeline generation to win/loss with the prime objectives to feed the GCoC with an order backlog in line or exceeding business targets with regards to volume, profitability, contractual setup and customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities

  • In close collaboration with regions, lead and is accountable for the global sales volumes of E-Mobility (OR and OR GM)
  • Creates, plans and implements global sales strategy and strategic business development initiatives for the Global Center of Competence eMobility
  • Support development of global marketing material and positioning of eMobility offering in the market
  • Defines key sales targets and establishes appropriate metrics and measurement tools to monitor performance. Proactively anticipates and identifies shortfalls in performance and takes appropriate remedial action. Drives top line profitable growth
  • Drive the pipeline generation: identify and evaluate opportunities with existing and potential new customers on a global basis in collaboration with the HBUs, determines plans for implementation and allocates resources
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with key decision makers in customer and potential customer organizations. Plans and implements customer surveys and acts on the results to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Participates in the negotiation of key global contracts
  • Identifies, monitors and maintains/exceeds the sales market price levels, evaluating with Product Management pricing impact on the results
  • Supports HBU sales organizations to ensure achievement of sales volume for eMobility business
  • Identifies and manages potential risks relating to contract agreements across customers/channels and ensure effective contractual setup for the GCoC with regards to risks associated to its scope of supply during the sales process
  • Develops, implements, and reviews sales processes and tools, and all related trainings and development activities
  • Accountable to Global eMobility OR and OR Gross Margin in close collaboration with Sales and HBUs
  • Supports the HBU Sales organization/customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost, lead time and quality effective solutions and in the preparation of demanding offers. Provides technical support during the technical meeting, presentations and negotiations
