Senior Specialist Project Management

to be based in Allschwil- Basel, Switzerland

Primary Job

Integrated into the Strategic Management Office (SMO) of Abbott’s Established Pharmaceuticals Division (EPD) in Basel, Switzerland, Analyst Strategy will take the lead to provide insights from complex data analysis, support strategic improvement initiatives and help prepare discussion documents for senior leadership.

• Responsible for data analysis and synthesis to support strategic initiatives and improvement programs

• Prepare updates / documents for senior leadership and corporate stakeholders

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide reliable, timely, and accurate insights from data analytics to enable effective decision-making

• Storyboarding, synthesizing and issuing documents with support of SMO management

• Creating workflows, templates and timelines for wider organization, and driving the process of data collection from regions and functions

• Working with key stakeholders across multiple geographies to create high quality outputs under demanding timelines

Minimum Education:

• Graduate degree in Science, Economics, Engineering, or Business

Minimum Experience/Training Required:

• 3-4 years of total experience required, experience with consulting firm is preferable  

• Experience in handling large and complex data analytics

• Prior experience in pharma and emerging markets will be highly preferable

Required Skills:

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

• Outside of the box thinking and self-starter

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to articulate insights and key messages clearly, tailored to the audience

• Ability to manage tight deadlines in high-pressure situations

• Ability to work effectively with ambiguity and flexibility to meet changing priorities in a proactive manner

• Collaborative and strong team player, able to adapt to work in diverse, cross-functional teams

• Excellent knowledge and use of Microsoft Office and excellent proficiency with excel

• Capability to manage and analyze various Pharmaceutical databases preferred, e.g., IMS, IQVIA
