This project aims to develop an unfrozen artificial photosynthetic platform using nanoconfinement to keep water liquid and enable CO2 fixation at sub-zero temperatures. Lipidic mesophases have proven effective for other enzymatic reactions down to -20 °C. Utilizing this platform, we will incorporate thylakoid membranes from pea plants, containing all necessary enzymes for photosynthesis. April 2025). Die Stipendien sollen vielversprechende Nachwuchsforschende darin unterstützen, ihr Dissertationsprojekt auszuarbeiten und sich an geeigneten Stellen um Anschlussfinanzierung zu bewerben.Das Doktoratsprogramm LiteraturwissenschaftDas internationale, interphilologische Doktoratsprogramm Literaturwissenschaft der Universität Basel bietet Promovierenden ausgezeichnete Bedingungen, um ihre Dissertation in der Literaturwissenschaft und eng verwandten Fachgebieten zu verfassen. Ausgewählte Seminare, regelmässige Doktoratskolloquien sowie Retraiten und Studientage bieten zahlreiche Gelegenheiten, um sich mit anderen Promovierenden auszutauschen, Rückmeldungen zur entstehenden Arbeit zu erhalten und für eine akademische Karriere notwendige Fertigkeiten zu erwerben. Das Doktoratsprogramm unterstützt seine Mitglieder zudem mit Beiträgen an Konferenz-, Forschungs- und Archivreisen und finanzieller Unterstützung für eigene Veranstaltungen.Das Doktoratsprogramm wird vom Departement Sprach- und Literaturwissenschaften getragen, welches folgende Philologien vereint: Anglistik, Germanistik, Französistik, Iberoromanistik, Italianistik, Skandinavistik, Slavistik und Osteuropa-Studien. Zu den Forschungsschwerpunkten des Doktoratsprogramms gehören Literatur- und Kulturtheorie, die Geschichte literarischer Formen, Künste und Medien, Wissensformen und Kulturelle Praxis. Derzeit umfasst das Doktoratsprogramm rund 50 Promovierende, die Hälfte davon mit einem internationalen Hintergrund.Ihre AufgabenDas AnschubstipendiumDas einjährige Anschubstipendium (Bewerbungsschluss: 17. November 2024; Antritt: 1. April 2025) dient dazu, einen Beitrag an die Lebenshaltungskosten während der Ausarbeitungsphase eines literaturwissenschaftlichen Dissertationsprojekts zu leisten. Ziel der Anschubfinanzierung ist es, innerhalb eines halben Jahres ein konkurrenzfähiges Gesuch für Stipendien oder für eine Projektanstellung auszuarbeiten und an den entsprechenden Stellen einzureichen, um anschliessend die Dissertation im Rahmen einer Drittmittelförderung nahtlos weiterzuführen. Das Anschubstipendium über CHF 30 000 wird in zwei halbjährlichen Tranchen à CHF 15 000 (mit Evaluation) ausbezahlt.Ihr ProfilSie verfügen über einen hervorragenden Masterabschluss (oder gleichwertigen Abschluss) in einer am Departement Sprach- und Literaturwissenschaften vertretenen Philologie oder in einem verwandten Fachgebiet. Sie haben sich bereits vertiefte Gedanken über ein Dissertationsprojekt gemacht, das einen wesentlichen Beitrag zu Ihrem Fachgebiet leisten soll und sind motiviert, sich als aktives Mitglied im Doktoratsprogramm Literaturwissenschaft einzubringen.Für die Bewerbung und die Zulassung zum Doktorat ist ein Notendurchschnitt des Masterabschlusses von mindestens 5.0 im Schweizer System erforderlich, auf ein Zehntel gerundet (das entspricht in der Regel Note 2.5 im deutschen System).
