Job Description
The role supports first-line commercial teams in all processes and decisions related to credit granting and pricing. The main responsibilities are to:
Lead credit assessment and analysis for loans outside automated approval systems, ensuring alignment with the Bank's risk appetite and regulatory compliance
Perform detailed financial and industry analyses, collaborating with commercial teams to gather comprehensive information for lending decisions
Coordinate with Risk, Finance, Treasury, and Legal functions to assess credit risk, financial impact, and contractual terms of loans
Establish and maintain a comprehensive pricing overview for the Bank’s client portfolio
Support internal and external audit processes related to credit risk management, loan granting, and pricing
Establish and maintain robust first-line credit procedures and control framework
Manage pricing and profitability analyses at portfolio and client levels, supporting Sales teams on complex pricing decisions
Monitor capital consumption and propose optimisation measures where appropriate
Support the development and review of credit lending policies and procedures
Prepare and lead Credit Approval Committee meetings, ensuring ongoing regulatory compliance
Generate credit-related reports for management, regulators, and internal committees
Conduct training sessions to enhance loan and product knowledge across the Bank
Qualifications
University Degree in business, economics, finance or related field, with 5+ years of banking experience in Luxembourg
Demonstrated expertise in credit management and pricing
Knowledge of regulatory requirements (CRR/CRD, EBA/GL/2020/06, CSSF circulars)
Understanding of capital consumption and pricing aspects
Proficiency in MS Office package
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; French is an asset
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across teams
