As a Lead Application Designer & Developer, you will work closely with business and IT stakeholders, design enterprise-grade solutions, and take an active role in guiding and performing key development tasks

What You Will Do

• Build scalable web and core systems for SIX’s Post-Trading business, focusing on robust architecture and efficient implementation
• Modernize and maintain existing enterprise applications and web services
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Architects to define solutions and maintain technical documentation
• Perform reviews, enforce best practices, ensure security and regulatory compliance, and provide technical guidance to development teams
• Promote automation in development processes, including CI/CD pipelines, and foster open communication within the team

What You Bring

• At least 5 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise applications
• Strong skills in Java (OpenJDK), Spring Boot, and Angular; experienced with OpenShift, GitLab, Ansible, Tomcat, and WildFly; and hands-on experience working with relational databases
• Ability to lead and support development teams with technical guidance while actively contributing as a lead developer
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and web security principles
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken); German and/or Spanish are a plus
