Your responsibilities

• Bring technology to the customer—and ideas to the product

• At Seitz, you’ll work alongside our customers to develop high-precision valve solutions for the PET industry—an environment where technology, speed, and precision are crucial
• As an Application Engineer, you serve as the central link between the customer, the development team, and the product., You understand applications, identify opportunities, and actively drive new solutions forward
• Developing and helping to shape design concepts in close collaboration with customers
• Responsibility for the technical specifications of valve solutions
• Collaborating on complex development projects in an international environment
• Primary point of contact for technical customer inquiries and new applications
• Initiating and driving new product developments in the PET sector
• Building and deepening expertise in blow molding and valve technology
• Close collaboration with internal teams and external partners

What makes you successful

• Degree in mechanical engineering or systems engineering
• Several years of experience in product development (ideally >5 years)
• Experience with technically challenging products in an industrial setting
• Understanding of customer requirements and their translation into technical solutions
• Enjoyment of direct customer contact and international collaboration
• Very good German and English language skills
• Experience in the field of PET / blow molding
• Knowledge of valve or fluid technology
