In this role, you will develop relationships with architects, consultants, engineers, and developers across the Greater Boston market to drive product specifications and support high-performance multifamily and commercial construction projects. You will combine technical building envelope expertise with relationship-driven business development to influence projects from early design through construction
This is a home-office based role requiring frequent travel throughout the Greater Boston territory and occasional travel across New England to support customer meetings, projects, events, and industry engagement activities. Total travel may account for up to approximately 80% of working time
The successful candidate must reside in the Greater Boston area, ideally within the I-95 corridor, including communities such as Cambridge, Somerville, Brookline, Newton, Waltham, Watertown, Arlington, Medford, Quincy, Needham, Dedham, and nearby cities
Qualifications and Competences
Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or strong technical construction background in multifamily construction
5+ years of professional sales experience in architectural/specification‑based sales
Proficient in English
Proficiency with MS Office
Valid driver’s license & passport
Must live within the I‑95 corridor due to the concentration of architects and project activity
Must be able to transport, lift, and set up SIGA products and mockups weighing up to 50 lbs
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship
About the Job
Manage and develop the Greater Boston territory, maintaining a strategic view of key architectural firms, projects, and market opportunities within an approximately two-hour drive radius
Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, consultants, spec writers, engineers, and developers to drive product preference and repeat specification
Plan and conduct architect and consultant engagements, including office visits, lunch-and-learn presentations, AIA-accredited CEU sessions, and technical product education
Provide technical consulting support to architects and specifiers, including building envelope guidance, detailing assistance, and specification-ready information
Support architects during design and specification development, ensuring SIGA systems are accurately detailed and written into project specifications
Build and manage a high-quality project pipeline by identifying, tracking, and cultivating projects from early design through bid and award, ensuring SIGA remains specified throughout the project lifecycle
Coordinate with contractors, distributors, and channel partners to prepare proposals, pricing, and quotations and ensure specifications carry through procurement and ordering
Maintain accurate project documentation and next steps in CRM (Dynamics) to ensure clear pipeline visibility and territory management
Represent SIGA within the architectural community through customer events, SIGA Academies, workshops, trade shows, and industry associations such as AIA and CSI
