Our client is a global leader in the premium consumer goods industry, offering a dynamic and collaborative work environment. We are looking for an Accountant for a short-term assignment in Zug. This role is perfect for someone with a few years of accounting experience who wants hands-on exposure to international processes and support in day-to-day finance operations.

Job Description

• Assisting with day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Supporting invoice processing, expense reports, and payment runs.
• Helping with bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Contributing to month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Assisting in preparing VAT returns and other compliance documentation.
• Providing support for audit preparation and ad-hoc finance projects.
• Maintaining electronic filing and ensure data accuracy in ERP systems.

The Successful Applicant

• 4+ years of accounting experience (preferably in an international environment).
• Familiarity with ERP systems and strong MS Excel skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong command of English (additional languages such as German or French are a plus).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
