Bartender (m/f/d) in Basel

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Bartender (m/f/d) to join our team at authentic Irish Pub in Basel, starting as soon as possible.

Your Responsibilities:

• Drink Service and Preparation – Pouring and serving Irish beers, ciders, whiskeys, and other beverages. – Skillfully preparing traditional and modern cocktails and mixed drinks. – Recommending and presenting specialty Irish beverages.

Guest Interaction and Customer Service: – Welcoming guests warmly and ensuring an authentic Irish Pub experience. – Advising and recommending drinks, especially Irish products. – Building relationships with regulars by providing attentive and personalized service.

Bar Organization and Maintenance: – Ensuring a clean and well-organized workspace. – Maintaining and cleaning bar tools, adhering to hygiene and safety regulations. – Restocking the bar with essentials such as glasses, spirits, and managing the tap system.

Events and Entertainment: – Supporting special events such as live music nights, pub quizzes, or sports screenings. – Contributing to a lively and authentic atmosphere that embodies the spirit of the Irish Pub.

Cash Handling and Inventory – Operating the cash register, handling payments, and ensuring accurate daily takings. – Monitoring stock levels and coordinating with management for replenishment.

What We Are Looking For: Experience in bartending, ideally in a pub or restaurant setting. Passion for Irish drinks and pub culture. Friendly, communicative, and service-oriented personality. Team player with flexibility, especially during special events. A professional appearance and a responsible attitude.
