      Our client, a prestigious name in the luxury watchmaking industry, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Watchmaker / Boutique Technician to join their high-end retail team in Zurich. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a globally recognized brand that celebrates craftsmanship, heritage, and innovation.

      About the Role

      As a Watchmaking Boutique Technician, you will be based in the brand's flagship boutique in Zurich, Bahnhofstrasse, supporting both clients and the boutique team by ensuring the technical care and service of timepieces. This position blends hands-on craftsmanship with customer service, playing a vital role in the after-sales process and overall boutique experience.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Conduct on-site diagnostics, technical assessments, and basic repairs including battery changes, strap/bracelet adjustments, movement regulation, and waterproof testing.
      • Perform pre-service and post-service quality control to ensure every piece meets the brand's strict standards.
      • Liaise with the central workshop and service center for more complex repairs, ensuring efficient turnaround and client satisfaction.
      • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional technical workspace within the boutique.
      • Support the sales team with technical knowledge and assist in managing service-related client communications.
      • Monitor parts inventory, tools, and equipment to ensure availability and compliance with brand standards.



      Candidate Profile

      • Qualified Watchmaker (WOSTEP, CFC or ES Horloger or equivalent certification preferred).
      • Minimum 2 years of experience in a watch repair or technical service role, ideally in a luxury retail environment.
      • Exceptional manual dexterity and attention to detail.
      • Fluency in GER/ENG languages.
      • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable engaging with boutique clients.
      • Passion for fine watchmaking and a collaborative approach to boutique operations.
