Project: To join a leading Swiss organisation, we are looking an experienced Cloud & Automation Engineer to support the engineering and operation of shared Kubernetes platforms based on AWS EKS and Azure AKS.

Your Tasks:

Engineer and operate shared Kubernetes platforms based on EKS and AKS
Enable application teams to deploy and run their applications on the platform
Maintain and further develop Kubernetes add-ons
Implement customer feature requests
Optimise platform and cloud costs
Contribute to security hardening
Support audits and compliance initiatives
Participate in on-call duties

Required Skills & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
Strong hands-on Kubernetes experience in an enterprise environment
Experience with AWS and/or Azure
Good knowledge of Terraform, YAML and ideally Golang
Experience with GitOps, GitHub and GitHub Actions
Knowledge of Helm and Kustomize
Experience with tools such as Argo CD, Kyverno, Karpenter, Cilium and Grafana
An automation-first mindset
A structured, independent and delivery-oriented approach
Willingness to participate in on-call duties

Languages:

Fluent English (written and spoken)
German is an advantage
