      Commercial Legal Advisor - 6-month fixed-term assignment

      Role Overview

      An international company with diverse activities is seeking a Legal Counsel to join its Group Legal team based in Geneva. This role is suited for a business-oriented lawyer with 5 to 8 years of post-qualification experience, comfortable operating in a fast-moving, multicultural environment.

      You will be part of a collaborative legal function supporting multiple business units across different jurisdictions, working closely with both legal colleagues and internal stakeholders worldwide.

      Commercial Legal Advisor - 6-month fixed-term assignment

      Key Responsibilities

      In this role, you will work both independently and as part of a team on a broad range of matters, including:

      • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating various commercial agreements (e.g. supply and service contracts, partnerships, licensing arrangements, technology agreements, NDAs, framework agreements, etc.);

      • Providing clear, practical and risk-based legal advice to business teams to support commercial objectives;

      • Ensuring activities are aligned with applicable laws, regulations and internal policies;

      • Supporting the development and continuous improvement of legal templates, internal processes and training initiatives related to contracting and procurement;

      • Contributing to cross-functional projects with legal implications.

      Profile & Qualifications

      • Qualified lawyer (bar admission or equivalent);

      • Around 5 years of relevant experience, either in private practice or in-house, ideally within an international environment;

      • Strong command of English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus;

      • Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills;

      • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work autonomously and meet tight deadlines;

      • Business-minded, proactive and adaptable, with a hands-on approach;

      • Strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving setting.
