Lufthansa is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Consultant to support our legal department by giving operational background decisions, ensuring smooth, compliant, and effective communication with legal bodies and stakeholders.

• Manage and respond to legal inquiries and complaints efficiently and professionally
• Coordinate and process communications from legal authorities such as National Enforcement Bodies, Alternative Dispute Resolution entities, and Consumer Protection Organizations
• Serve as a point of contact for lawyers representing Lufthansa, providing accurate and timely responses
• Investigate legal and paralegal claims in accordance with established guidelines
• Collaborate with internal departments and external authorities to ensure smooth information flow
• Handle essential administrative responsibilities including database maintenance
• Support the team with occasional ad-hoc assignments as needed

• University Degree or Completed Apprenticeship would be beneficial
• Previous experience in a legal, administrative, or compliance-related role is a plus
• Previous experience in the airline industry would be advantageous
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• A keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
• Proficiency in maintaining and updating internal databases
• Fluency in German and in English, both spoken and written - this criteria is a must
