Key Responsibilities
Act as the main point of contact for retrofit solutions sales and inquiries with shipowners, shipyards, and global agents
Understand customer needs, develop technical retrofit proposals, and support clients from design to implementation in collaboration with internal teams and vendors
Maintain accurate CRM records and monitor account performance to ensure profitability and client satisfaction
Contribute to work process improvements, pricing strategies, and portfolio development
Conduct market and competitor analysis to support strategic planning and identify growth opportunities
Develop and adjust product pricing strategies based on cost, competition, and market trends
Provide commercial and technical support to sales and marketing teams, including presentations and promotional material development
Manage contracts and agreements, ensuring compliance and favorable terms; oversee invoicing and resolve payment issues
Support Sales Key Account Managers with technical input and customer issue resolution
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and suppliers
Willingness to travel up to 20% within Europe and Asia
Bachelor’s or MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
Proven experience in account management and/or sales of mechanical solutions, preferably in the maritime, railway, mining, or energy sectors
In-depth knowledge of mechanical technologies, such as large ship engines or marine equipment
Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM and SAP knowledge is a plus
Customer-focused with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
