On behalf of our client, a global food manufacturer, we are seeking a Corporate Buyer Raw Materials to join their procurement team in Zug. This role offers responsibility for strategic sourcing across multiple international sites, ensuring supply security and supporting business performance.

Corporate Buyer Raw Materials

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of raw materials (food ingredients)
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies across European and international plants
• Lead supplier selection, relationship management, and contract negotiations
• Monitor markets, analyse data, and support volume forecasting
• Ensure supply continuity through risk and contingency planning
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (R&D, Planning, Quality, Production, etc.)

Profile

• Experience in strategic procurement (raw materials or commodities)
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills
• Structured, reliable, and able to work independently
• Good communication skills and ability to work across cultures
• Fluent in English; German required, French is a plus
• FMCG or food-related experience is an advantage

Additional information

• Small team with broad scope and international exposure (10+ plants)
• Office-based role: 4 days/week
• Occasional travel, particularly in the first 1-2 years
