      • Within our La Prairie R&D team, this position is responsible for toxicological evaluations and safety assessments of our cosmetic products that ensure a high level of consumer protection
      • The candidate will be connected with an experienced team of safety assessors among the Beiersdorf Group. The candidate will collaborate with R&D teams and interact proactively with stakeholders in Legal, Marketing and Supply Chain
      • How You Will Create a Beautiful Impact
      • Toxicological evaluations of raw materials and safety assessments of cosmetic formulations and finished cosmetic products
      • Support product developers, formulators, toxicologists and other experts in upstream initiatives for the development of new ingredients, formulations and products
      • Application of new approach methodologies for hazard identification and safety assessment, with planning of studies and guidance on safety communications
      • Understand and oversee China‑specific safety assessments and advise on associated risks for the company
      • Oversee, evaluate, and steer skin compatibility studies, including the preparation and writing of study protocols
      • Participation in trade association activities in areas of toxicology and risk assessment for regulatory submissions and product defense
      • What you need to have to be our next audacious and creative talent
      • Degree in pharmacy, medicine or toxicology with practical course work/lab experience
      • For any other degree, certification European Registered Toxicologist (ERT) or Diplomate American Board of Toxicology (DABT) is needed
      • Excellent interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills as required for internal and external collaborations
      • Open, global mindset characterized by positivity, flexibility, and adaptability with agile thinking
      • Ability to cope with stress and dynamic changes of the business environment
      • Fluency in English, and ideally a good knowledge of German
