Responsibilities:
Supporting Customer Support Manager iCER for project execution and follow-up
Supporting the post development of WinGD DF technology with strong focus on exhaust gas recirculation (iCER system)
Support in defining short term and mid-term design improvements, changes to yard installation documents, engine drawings and manuals in close cooperation with our customers and suppliers
Provide instructions to our global operation support team and derive operation guidelines for the ships crews - upon request / aligned with customer support manager iCER
Ensure timely and consistent communication towards stakeholders
Support and/ or moderation of customer / supplier meetings
Follow up / implement reliability measures / upgrade projects for iCER engines at shipyards and in operation, in close cooperation with other departments in WinGD
Qualifications & Experience:
Process engineer or marine engineer or other engineering degree
Sound Knowledge of:
Engine technology and ship’s auxiliary systems (experience with WinGD X-DF engines of advantage)
Exhaust treatment systems and related subsystems (Scrubber, SCR, Water treatment systems
Ability to assess engine auxiliary systems and processes, take measurements, interpret data and identify trends for auxiliary system improvements
Good understanding of process control systems like PLCs and SCADA
Proven work experience in process engineering, process troubleshooting and maintenance of advantage
MSc or BSc degree
Willingness to travel worldwide to and on ships
Knowledge of cooperation with internal and external partners
Pro-active and self-driven personality
2S product and exhaust gas treatment knowledge of advantage
Fluent in English (written / verbal)
