For one of our clients of the Life Sciences sector, we are looking for a Full Stack Developer / Data Engineer to support the development of an automated recommender system designed to identify and propose manufacturing process improvements
Develop and maintain backend data engineering processes, with a strong focus on: SQL-based data extraction, transformation, and optimization + Databricks workflows and pipelines (experience a strong plus)
Implement front-end components using HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript, including interactive data visualizations using Plotly
Build and automate scripts using Python and widely used data libraries such as pandas, numpy, and scikit-learn
Develop simple, efficient APIs for internal data integration and accessibility
Perform unit testing and troubleshooting to ensure code quality, reliability, and maintainability
Document code, workflows, and processes to support long-term sustainability and knowledge sharing
Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and manufacturing stakeholders to incorporate machine learning models into the existing data landscape (ML integration experience a plus)
Profile
Strong proficiency in Python, including data-focused libraries (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn)
Solid experience with SQL and data engineering workflows
Experience with Databricks is a significant advantage
Front-end development skills with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience creating interactive visualizations using Plotly
Ability to develop simple REST APIs for internal data consumption
Familiarity with unit testing practices and code-quality standards
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
Strong problem-solving capabilities and excellent attention to detail
Comfortable working in an agile environment; experience with Jira is a plus
