Trade Monitoring Data Scientist vacancy for globally operating Switzerland based company in the Banking sector

Your tasks:

• Review existing trade surveillance scenarios to identify areas for improvement, updates, or refinement
• Write scripts and perform statistical analysis to identify patterns and optimal threshold settings
• Analyze and visualize data to support scenario re-calibration decisions
• Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the scenario re-calibration process, recommending changes as needed
• Project: Re-Calibration of Trade Surveillance Scenarios

Your experience/knowledge:

• 3+ years of experience in data analytics or data science
• Must have Banking experience with focus on Non-Financial risk – Compliance, Risk Management and Legal, preferably experience in the area of Trade Surveillance
• Proficient in programming (Python, SQL)
• Experience in project management or business analysis
• Language skills: English
• Your soft skills:
• Excellent comprehension skills with attention to detail
• A high degree of self-organisation and time management
• Analytical and solution-orientated thinking
