Deputy Director of the Institute of Mechanical Engineering MissionThe Institute of Mechanical Engineering (IGM) is seeking a Deputy Director of the Institute (40%) starting on January 1, 2026, or on another mutually agreed date close to this. In order to strengthen its strategic and operational leadership, the STI Faculty is looking for its future Assistant to the Director of the Institute of Mechanical Engineering. Reporting directly to the Director of the Institute, you will play a key role in the management of the Institute, with strong involvement in internal and external academic relations. The ideal candidate has an excellent knowledge of EPFL and holds an engineering degree, preferably in the field of mechanical engineering (a PhD would be an asset). He/she demonstrates strong skills in management and institutional communication, as well as a strong interest in the academic environment.
