Your responsibilities

• Develop valve solutions that are used worldwide
• This full-time position as a Design Engineer (m/f/d) is based in Wetzikon and focuses on the design and development of high-pressure valves and related components. Daily responsibilities include, in particular:
• Design and development of high-pressure valves and related components
• Creation and optimization of mechanical designs
• Development of 3D models and technical drawings
• Ensuring compliance with performance, safety, and regulatory requirements
• Close collaboration with R&D, Production, and Quality
• Translating customer and market requirements into manufacturable products
• Participation in design and project meetings
• Assistance with prototype construction and validation testing
• Continuous improvement of existing products and solutions
• Documentation of design work in accordance with internal standards
• Assistance with technical clarifications and failure analyses
• Point of contact for technical questions from internal and external stakeholders

What makes you successful

• Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering with practical experience in Design Engineering and Machine Design
• Skills in Product Design, including development of functional concepts and optimization for performance, reliability, and manufacturability
• Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 3D modeling, detailed drawings, and design documentation
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline
• Experience with pressure-containing components, fluid systems, or valve technology is an advantage
• Familiarity with relevant standards, tolerance and strength calculations, and basic simulation or FEA tools is beneficial
• Ability to work accurately, communicate clearly in a multidisciplinary environment, and manage projects from concept to implementation
• Good command of English; German language skills are an asset in the Wetzikon location
