      Development Engineer PLC Software (m/f/d)

      About the Role

       Currently, we are looking for an organized and dedicated individual to join our R&D team as a Development Engineer PLC Software (m/f/d) in Volketswil. 

      • Conceptualizing and creating PLC software within the framework of machine and module development, product maintenance, and customer projects in an interdisciplinary context, considering functional, safety, and time requirements
      • Developing and testing machine/module prototypes
      • Evaluating new technologies and methods
      • Contributing to the design and implementation of processes and guidelines for PLC software development and documentation
      • Supporting:
        • Sales in reviewing and evaluating change requests
        • Assembly in the development and training of commissioning procedures
        • Hotline with 3rd level support cases

       What You Need to Be Successful

      • A technical degree (B.Sc./M.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field
      • Experience in a similar environment is an advantage - but recent graduates are also encouraged to apply
      • Familiarity with modular PLC software development (preferably using B&R Automation Studio) is a plus
      • Knowledge of safety function design and implementation is a benefit
      • A structured, analytical, and solution-oriented approach
      • A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work independently when needed
      • Strong communication skills in German and English—both spoken and written (required)
