Diagnostic Imaging Internship Position - Large Animals

Internship Program
The Clinic of Diagnostic Imaging of the Vetsuisse Faculty of Zurich is offering a one-year internship position to give training in large animal (LA) diagnostic imaging. The Clinic of Diagnostic Imaging supports other internal clinics of small and large animals (equine and farm animals) as well as the clinic for zoo animals, exotics and wildlife. Training during the internship takes place in all LA sectors
(clinical radiology, ultrasonography, CT, MRI). Participation and support of ongoing clinical diagnostic imaging research projects is also part of the internship.
Team and facilities
In total, we are thirteen board-certified radiologists (large and small animals), five residents and eight technicians. On-site LA imaging equipment includes: one large animal radiography unit including fluoroscopy, one spiral CT unit (Qalibra/Canon Exceed), two ultrasound machines (GE Logiq S8 and
Fujifilm Arietta 750), a 3T MRI unit (Philips Ingenia Elition), a standing low field MRI (Hallmarq Equine
Standing MRI System 0.27T) and nuclear scintigraphy (MIE).
Qualifications
Applicants must have a veterinary degree. Spoken German is advantageous.
