The overall strategy of national oversight has produced significant results and our team is growing in order to continue our steady track record of success. We are seeking a Divisional Reinsurance Executive (DRE) who will report to the East Division Vice President for Zurich Direct Markets, as well as manage and grow a substantial book of business
This Reinsurance professional will work closely with the field force of Regional F&I Managers and Finance & Insurance Executives to continue to execute the proven sales and service strategy initiatives of Direct Markets for the East Division
This Divisional Reinsurance Executive will bring a high level of expertise to successfully drive new business, maintain high profile relationships to create wealth building opportunities for dealerships and develop strategic relationships outside of the Zurich organization
This sales leader will help implement strategic and tactical objectives as they relate to Zurich's overall sales strategy to achieve and sustain profitable growth. You will analyze and provide strategic direction to our highly successful team of field sales professionals to advance Zurich's position in the marketplace
In addition to driving sales efforts in the field, they may represent the Zurich Team in leadership meetings, at association meetings and industry activities. Oversee cross-team sales initiatives as needed. Maintain responsibility for customer issues and/or challenges in the Division. Additional leadership activities may include planning, budgeting, coaching, and leading by influence within the Division
The ideal candidate should have a track record of sales success, leadership capabilities, as well as a solid understanding of Reinsurance as it relates to Dealership Operations and Finance Products as they relate to our production goals
The ideal candidate should have access to a large airport for efficient travel purposes
Basic Qualifications
Our ideal Divisional Reinsurance Executive will possess the following:
Bachelors Degree and 5 or more years of related experience with a focus on Sales, F&I, Reinsurance, Operations or Accounting
High School Diploma or Equivalent and 7 or more years of related experience with a focus on Sales, F&I, Reinsurance, Operations or Accounting
Experience managing product knowledge of legal and regulatory environment within area of responsibility
Experience with Proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools
Experience analyzing financial results
Preferred Qualifications
Recent demonstrated and documented success relative to New Business Acquisition, along with consistent goal achievement
Experience in the financial services sector or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Superior Communication skills, both written and verbal
Thorough understanding of the principles of Captives insurance (• Knowledge of company-approved software, business system and reporting applications
AIC or CPCU preferred)
Broad knowledge of the automotive segment customers' business and operations with the ability to forge and build relationships therein
Leadership experience in managing teams or cross-functional projects
Your pay at Zurich is based on your role, location, skills, and experience. We follow local laws to ensure fair compensation. You may also be eligible for bonuses and merit increases. The pay range shown is a national average and may vary by location. The proposed base salary range for this position is $74,300 to $121,700. This position includes a variable compensation component that is based on an individual’s performance under the applicable sales incentive plan. The target total compensation for the role would approximate $250,000 annually
