Responsibilities
- Support the development of measurement machine control system through engineering assistance
- Design and define machine control systems including electrical component selection and theoretical verification (cables, connectors, motion stages, metrology etc.)
- Elicitate, define, and specify control system functions and use cases
- Perform basic electrical and communication analysis using Excel
- Refine and verify control system requirements and maintain documentation
- Pre-select suppliers for electrical components
- Build EBOMs (Electrical Bills of Material) using PLM systems
- Collaborate remotely or onsite with an established development team
Profile
- Profound knowledge in designing and defining machine control systems with electrical component selection
- In-depth experience in control system requirements management and function specification
- Relevant experience in EBOM creation and supplier pre-selection
- Ability to analyze electrical and communication aspects using Excel
- Technical background with a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
- Familiarity with Siemens PLC Development and control software such as Siemens TIA Portal or Beckhoff TwinCAT is advantageous
- Experience with CAD/ECAD tools (e.g., EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical) and PLM systems
- English proficiency for clear project communication
