In this role, you will help foster a strong tech culture within our existing teams, elevate the skills of our developers, and drive the evolution of exciting products

Your Responsibilities

• As Engineering Manager for the web area, you play a key role in driving technical development and aligning our three web development teams
• You report directly to the CTO and work closely with our three Product Owners, who currently lead these teams
• You lead and develop a team of software engineers and designers, manage agile workflows across the teams, strengthen internal collaboration, and are responsible for the teams’ delivery
• You work closely with the Product Owners. They handle prioritization and stakeholder alignment, while you and your teams are responsible for estimation and delivery

Your Qualifications

• A university degree or equivalent qualification in computer science or a comparable field
• Extensive experience in software development as well as in leading tech teams
• A passion for taking ownership and continuously developing yourself and your teams
• Openness to travel between Berlin, Freiburg, and Zurich
• Business-fluent in English and German
• You enjoy working in an international, cross-functional team with diverse strengths and experience levels
