Experienced Project Leader
Who we are Erbo Spraytec AG is a contract manufacturer with its main facilities in Switzerland. Erbo Spraytec AG belongs to the Swiss Erbo Group a mid-sized, family-owned business with 200 employees. The Headquarter and the Plants of Erbo Spraytec are located in CH-4922 Buetzberg, Switzerland.
Erbo Spraytec AG offers state of the art fluidized bed technologies for our customers worldwide. We convert liquids into a powder form with specified physical and chemical properties, mainly for feed additives but also for food ingredients and ingredients for personal care. Spray granulation, spray chilling, matrix encapsulation, core/shell encapsulation, hot melt coatings, agglomeration, instantiation are some of the key production processes for manufacturing these tailor-made ingredients. For this purpose, Erbo Spraytec AG runs multiprocessor production plants of the newest technology, with production throughput up to 3500 kg/hour, as well as pilot plants (batch size 1- 20kg) on site for developing new processes and products on customer's request, and for up scaling processes for manufacturing. The facilities of Erbo Spraytec AG are equipped with many extras allowing the production of a wide range of products. However, the true strength of the POWDER PROFESSIONALS of Erbo Spraytec AG is the considerable expertise in spray processes and experience with powder products over many years. We are planning an additional new fluidized bed tower with a capacity of 7000 to./year including a warehouse according to the following timetable. A permanent new management position will be created in connection with this expansion investment

• Planning phase until end of 2026
• Building and Test phase until End of 2027
• Operational phase from 2028

Your job

• You will be responsible as the project leader for the planning and construction of the new plant including warehouse together with our experts in fluidised bed applications and the third-party planners for the building and logistics.
• Thanks to your knowledge, experience and initiative, you will be the first point of contact and for all the suppliers and you will lead them through the project. This includes the coordination of all aspects of such a project. Among others draft specifications and product documentation, selecting the equipment and purchasing the equipment and timely planning of the new installation.
• Strong communication between suppliers, third party planners and our production staff
• Depending on your time available, you will be also engaged with other efficiency projects withing the current towers and coordinate them with our production team.
• Some travelling will be needed

Your profile

• You are an outstanding ETH or FH engineer with a keen interest in process engineering.
• You have several years of practical experience in project management of equipment, machinery and building up production facilities
• you are looking for a position in which you can assume responsibility and comprehensively apply your skills as an engineer, practitioner and manager.
• Your technical and methodological knowledge is strong (in particular analyses of production processes on a scientific basis).
• Your quality awareness and your solution-orientation are convincing.
• You like to work on scientific process questions and want to turn them into an economic value for our company.
• You like to work in a small team and company with a short decision-making process.
• Technically and businesswise you are a leader and decision maker while never forgetting that you are part of a team and that success comes working together.
• You speak and write fluently in English and can communicate in German.
