Drive new business opportunities and internal sales and service activities by managing relationships with developmental brokers, and identify and liaise with business units to communicate cross-sell opportunities
Support key activity outcomes with Business Units to ensure key pipeline accounts are being managed -serviced as agreed and inform Business Development Leaders of key developments
Follow-up with distributors or Business Unit; personnel to drive key initiatives and action items coming out of internal sales meetings and cross-Business Unit; planning meetings
Communicate directly with selected distributors to present value propositions and drive business development activities to support Business Development needed
Provide strategic internal support including response to urgent requests from Business Development Leaders or distributors to optimize the effectiveness of the Business Development Leaders external sales activities
Work through hindrances to the business development and post-sales processes
Amplify product service information requests to showcase the breadth of the organization's offering.-Communicate the organization's response to the distributors directly when appropriate in support of Business Development Leader and work with them to help them better understand the organization going forward
Manage smaller Select, Business Unit; Select or Developmental broker relationships. Drive new business and retention actions with assigned brokers to achieve Plan
Review and qualify submissions for select new Business Unit-distributor relationships based on pre-defined criteria
Process inbound calls to strengthen regional relationships and identify appropriate Business Units to place accounts.-Monitor preferred submission handling and review and qualify submissions where appropriate for select new Business Unit-distributor relationships based on a pre-defined criteria
Work with Business Development Business Units to deliver coordinated multi
Review and analyze initial account pipeline reports to identify submissions with cross-sell opportunities
Liaise with Business Units to communicate cross-sell opportunities and identify and add any additional submissions or target accounts not included in initial list of submissions
Analyze pipeline reports using DOZ data-cube to identify high-priority submissions and cross-sell opportunities
Work with Business Development Leaders to analyze distributor scorecard reports and review to identify areas of underperformance and opportunity and meet with Business Development Leaders to discuss insights in advance of distributor visits and internal sales meetings
Contribute to competition, product and distributor analyses, based on interactions with distributors, Business Units or Strategic Support Unit, and communicate to the team in advance of internal sales meetings and resulting sales calls visits with distributors
Serve as distributors# initial point of contact for inquiries and servicing issues spanning multiple Bus when Business Development; Leader; not available
Promptly handle inquiries where possible; otherwise evaluate which personnel should be involved in responding to each servicing issue (e.g. Business Development Leader, Business Unit; Strategic Support Unit; personnel)
Coordinate among Business Units -Strategic Support Units to develop the organizations response to distributor servicing issues touching multiple Business Units, escalating the issue to the Business Development necessary
Communicate Zurichs response to the distributors and work with them to help them better understand Zurichs organization going forward
Identify any trends regarding service issues and elevate to Business Development Leaders for resolution as needed
Serve as lead contact for incoming calls from select non-priority distributors to maximize retention and cross-sell sales with appropriate Business Development and direction
