Become part of our global Supply Chain Management team to bring the organization to the next level as
Lead and continuously develop the company's global Trade Compliance strategy and framework in alignment with business objectives and international trade requirements
Ensure compliance with global export control, sanctions, embargo, and other trade-related regulations, protecting the company and its leadership from compliance risks
Design, implement, and govern the global Internal Compliance Program (ICP) to identify, mitigate, and monitor trade compliance risks
Analyze business models, value chains, and operating structures to assess trade compliance implications and establish policies, rules, and guidelines
Review high-risk business transactions and coordinate escalation processes with senior management and Legal where required
Manage global compliance audits, regulatory inspections, reviews, and follow-up actions to ensure ongoing adherence to legal requirements
Define and monitor Trade Compliance KPIs, reporting structures, and dashboards to provide transparency and support management decision-making
Act as Global Process Owner (GPO) for Trade Compliance processes, driving standardization, digitalization, automation, and effective trade compliance data management
Review contracts, documentation, and internal policies while advising stakeholders on mitigating foreign trade risks during project and order execution
Develop and deliver global training programs to strengthen Trade Compliance capabilities across the organization
Your Profile:
Proven record of 5-7 years in leading Trade Compliance in an industrial environment with a strong focus on export business
Comprehensive expertise in international trade compliance regulations including EU Export Controls, EU Dual-Use Regulation, EU Sanctions, U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR), etc
Strong knowledge of customs, origin, and preferential trade regulations
Extensive experience in Internal Compliance Programs (ICP), audit management, risk assessment, and the implementation of effective trade compliance governance frameworks
SAP (GTS) or other platforms know how (like AEB) and experience
Proficient in English, fluent in German
Experience working within matrix organizations and multinational corporations
Strong motivation and passion for work, pragmatic and result oriented
Strong problem solving, organizational and communicational skills and proven ability to prioritize responsibilities and processes
