Governance Support Contractor – 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

• We're looking for a Governance Support Contractor to join our Governance and Regulatory Services team on a fixed-term basis to support the integration of ClearView into Zurich. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role during a significant business transition, helping ensure our governance, regulatory and company secretarial processes remain accurate, compliant and audit-ready throughout the journey
• Working across Board governance, company secretarial support and governance records management, you'll partner closely with senior stakeholders while contributing to high-quality governance outcomes in a regulated environment. If you enjoy variety, thrive on detail, and take pride in producing exceptional work, this role offers meaningful exposure to governance at the highest levels of the organisation
• You will also be responsible for the following:
• Coordinate Board and Committee packs, resolutions and regulatory filings
• Maintain accurate governance registers, records and handover documentation
• Attend Board and Committee meetings and prepare high-quality minutes and action logs
• Upload, migrate and quality assure governance records across governance platforms and systems
• Manage fit and proper assessments and governance documentation throughout the assessment lifecycle
• Support the preparation of Financial Accountability Regime notifications and related record
• You are someone who brings a strong customer-first mindset, with the ability to balance empathy and sound judgement. You enjoy working collaboratively, are open to learning, and take pride in making a genuine difference in the moments that matter
• At least five years' experience in a company secretarial, governance or Board support role
• Experience preparing Board and Committee minutes and governance documentation to a high standard
• Experience working within financial services, ideally in an APRA-regulated environment
• Practical knowledge of fit and proper assessment processes and governance compliance requirements
• Strong document management skills with experience maintaining audit-ready records and registers
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills and experience working with governance or board portal platforms
