We are looking for a passionate and skilled Senior Business System Analyst to join our dynamic Zurich Guidewire Team (ZGT). ZGT is hub for innovation, expertise development and services delivery, supporting Guidewire platform and related tech-stack globally within Zurich. With the mandate to service Zurich’s business units which use Guidewire products, this team brings together talented professionals focused on developing & delivering digital capabilities, core platform solutions, integrate AI, build reusable assets & components – both on-prem and Guidewire cloud versions. We operate from multiple technology delivery centres spread globally to service our business units
This position is based in Barcelona Technology Delivery Center (TDC). Established in Barcelona in 2006, the TDC operates as an integral part of Zurich Insurance Group, providing cutting-edge technological solutions and support to Zurich's local and global business units

As a Guidewire Senior Business Systems Analyst, you will:
Coordinate with product owners and stakeholders to gather & document stories, epics for projects and enhancements. Monitor decisions and manage documentation
Analyse and propose solutions leveraging out-of-the-box (OOTB) Guidewire modules. Recommended customizations where required and provide groomed stories to development and Quality Assurance teams
Translates business requirements into technical specifications and design documents
Compare solutions, perform cost/benefit analysis, risk assessments, and scope definitions for proposed enhancements and work products
Guide stakeholders in building business case and impact analysis
Support end-to-end development lifecycle; story grooming, sprint testing, coordinating with developers, Quality Assurance and Release Management teams
Lead ceremonies such as inception workshops, sprint planning, developing conceptual sprint plans, demos and retrospective meetings. Clearly documents action items and owns delivery of respective items
Evaluate project impacts to various departments of the business units through consultations with various teams
Supports system configuration and integration testing to ensure requirements are met
Participate and lead business process modelling and re-engineering solutions
Utilize UML tools to create Use Cases, Class, and Sequence Diagrams as required
Provide support during various stabilization phases such as system integration testing and user acceptance testing
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or Computer Science or Engineering and 5 or more years of experience in the Information Technology area
High School Diploma or Equivalent and 10 or more years of experience in the Information Technology area
Strong understanding of P&C insurance business processes
Experience in requirements gathering, business process modelling, and solution design
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively with global cross-functional teams and lead initiatives
Proactive, customer-focused mindset and commitment to delivering results
5+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst, with a focus on Guidewire InsuranceSuite (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter)
