Responsibilities

• In collaboration with the Product Manager define the vision for the component/system/product and ensure the agile team understands it
• Requirements Engineering and User Collaboration
• Translate the high-level needs into actionable User Stories (Definition of the -what-)
• Backlog and Prioritization: Manage and prioritize the Team/Product Backlog. Estimation of User Stories with the agile team
• Overseeing scoping and prioritization during all stages of product creation. Ensure the scope stays aligned with the Definition of Done (DoD).

Profile

• Bachelor-s or Master-s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical) or a related technical field
• Experience/ Proven track record as a Product Owner or Project Lead in a hardware-centric environment, ideally within the MedTech or Healthcare industry
• Technical and Systems Engineering Expertise: Strong ability to define and estimate complex work packages in an engineering context. Familiarity with the constraints of physical product development (tooling, BOM, lead times) compared to pure software Cycles
• Good negotiation skills to protect the team's focus
• Exceptional ability to bridge the gap between technical engineering teams and non-technical stakeholders or clients
• Methodology: Knowledge of Agile frameworks (SAFe/Scrum/Kanban) and their application in regulated hardware environments
• Familiar with Azure DevOps / SAP / Google tools
• Languages: Fluency in English and German (written and spoken) is required.
