Apparel is one of Mammut’s largest and most important business areas globally. This role leads and develops the business against strategies and financial targets. The Head of Apparel will work cross functionally across the company ensuring apparel strategy is realized towards our consumer segmentation through our multiple business channels. In this role you will lead and inspire the organization in developing Mammut apparel resourcefully and leading performance across categories.

Your responsibilities
- Develop and drive business unit strategy together with the CPO
- Ensure category development delivers assortment that meets our business needs and reaches our consumer segmentation
- Responsible for overall apparel gross margin and category margins
- Lead and drive the apparel aspect of the GTM process across the company and inspire through compelling presentations at each GTM stage developing the seasonal propositions
- Create and own seasonal business plans and cascade through the cross functional teams
- Ensure commercial needs are met with a deep understanding of global channels and consumer segmentation
- Lead Product Management and Development teams and ensure that team delivers against targets and realizes design briefs
- Mentor and develop direct reports into future leaders ensuring succession planning and development is in place
- Work cross functionally together with Head of Sourcing to ensure Tier 1 and 2 meet the development targets and business needs
- Work closely with Head of Design to ensure design philosophy is realized
- Together with Head of Sourcing and Head of Design ensure each stage gate it met through the critical path
Your profile
- Degree in fashion, industrial or product design
- Min. 8-10 years of relevant experience in a similar role in the outdoor industry
- Awareness of future trends and all key market developments
- Track record of leading teams through complex project management
- Experience with developing and executing strategies cross functionally
- Understanding of and experience in driving the GTM process business development
- Consumer centric experience and approach as well as an entrepreneurial and strategic mindset
- Strong leadership skills to motivate, inspire and mentor teams
- Positive personality with strong collaboration as well as problem solving & decision making skills
- Visionary thinking and a result and target driven approach
- High quality presentation skills
- Fluent in English, German is desirable
- Strong knowledge in Microsoft Suite
