Ready to shape the future of our banking technology landscape?, , We’re looking for a forward-thinking Head of Core Banking & Applications to take ownership of our enterprise application environment - driving operational excellence, reliability, and continuous innovation across our Core Banking, CRM, Reporting, HR, Finance, and workplace systems., , In this role, you’ll combine strategic leadership with hands-on governance - ensuring stability, compliance, and scalability as we evolve our digital infrastructure

What would your role be?

• Lead and inspire a small, highly skilled team managing day-to-day operations and key external service providers
• Oversee the full lifecycle of our application landscape - ensuring availability, performance, and exceptional service quality
• Drive continuous improvement in vendor and service management, including SLA governance, performance monitoring, and escalation handling
• Coordinate change, release, test, and incident management across departments and external partners to guarantee smooth delivery
• Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements (MaRisk, BAIT, DORA) and provide expertise during audits and inspections
• Take a leading role in bank-wide and group-wide initiatives shaping the future of our IT applications and digital capabilities

What are we looking for?

• Degree in (Business) Informatics or related field
• 10+ years of IT banking experience in operations or application management
• Strong vendor and service management expertise (SLA, escalation, governance)
• Experience in regulated environments (MaRisk, BAIT, DORA); ITIL/ISTQB a plus
• Broad knowledge of core banking and enterprise applications
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent in German and English
