SSM Group is seeking a
Head of Finance and IT (w/m/d)
to lead our strategic and operational activities across our legal entities in Switzerland, Italy, and China. This high-impact role offers broad leadership responsibility and direct access to top BU leadership.
Your Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Finance and IT teams with a total of 10 FTEs
- Oversee monthly closings (IFRS & local GAAP), group reporting, budgeting & forecasting
- Act as sparring partner and deputy to the Managing Director of SSM
- Drive controlling across manufacturing, projects, R&D and sales
- Ensure compliance, internal controls, audit readiness, and cash flow management
- Champion continuous improvement in finance and business processes
- Coordinate IT initiatives, pension commission, and facility management
Your Profile
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or Audit, with >8 years’ experience in Controlling/Finance
- Deep knowledge of IFRS; hands-on with ERP (SAP/PSI), BI tools, Excel & PowerPoint
- Strong leadership background (5+ years) in international environments
- Skilled in manufacturing & supply chain controlling
- Fluent in German and English; Italian a plus
- Agile, analytical, culturally aware, and ready to challenge the status quo
