A bit about the role

We are looking for a highly motivated Integration Engineer to join our Platform Solution CH/FL domain, with a specialized focus on data integration and orchestration using the Avaloq Core Platform (ACP) and containerized applications. This role is critical in ensuring that data flows seamlessly between internal systems and external interfaces, enabling efficient and reliable end-to-end processes across the banking platform.

Your key tasks

• Design, implement, and maintain integration workflows using ACP and containerized applications to connect internal systems and external services
• Identify standards to be applied to current integration patterns with the aim of ensuring compliance with security standards, regulatory requirements, and internal best practices
• Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, product owners, and technical teams to understand integration requirements and translate them into scalable solutions
• Manage and support the full lifecycle of integrations: analysis, design, development, testing, documentation, and production deployment
• Optimize integration solutions for performance, scalability, and maintainability
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
• Document integration designs, data mappings, and technical specifications in line with best practices and compliance standards

A bit about you

• Bachelor-s or Master-s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on Integration of third party apps
• Applications & Tools: Docker, Kubernetes, Git/GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins, Ansible, CI/CD Tools, Jira, Confluence, VS Code, IntelliJ IDEA, Postman, Jmeter, SonarQube, Spring Framework
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, Javascript, PL/SQL, Shell Scripting and/or C#
• Databases PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, Oracle DB, Firebase
• Networks & Protocols TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, WebSockets, DNS, SSH, FTP, TLS/SSL, Load Balancing, CDN, OAuth, SAML, JWT

It would be a real bonus if you have:

• Hands-on experience with ACP (Avaloq Core Platform) or similar data extraction frameworks
