Do you want to shape our brand-new Key Account Management function from the ground up and develop lasting partnerships with our most important customers? As our first Key Account Manager, you will define and implement processes, forge strong customer relationships, and pave the way for our future growth.
Your responsibilities
Build & Establish Key Account Management: Develop best practices, methodologies, and processes for our newly created function, ensuring sustainable implementation across the organization.
Own & Grow Strategic Accounts: Drive revenue and cultivate long-term partnerships through deep customer understanding.
Shape Strategic Account Plans: Develop and execute tailored strategies to maximize profitability and long-term collaboration.
Expand Opportunities: Identify and win upsell, cross-sell, and new expansion opportunities across short- and long-term horizons
Lead Co-Innovation: Initiate and drive co-innovation projects, grounded in trust and customer intimacy.
Align Internal Teams: Act as the bridge between accounts and internal stakeholders - such as Application Scientists, Product Managers, Marketing - to ensure successful execution and delivery.
Your profile
Substantial experience and passion in Key Account Management within high-tech or complex solution environments
Prior achievements in building and growing Key Account Management functions is a plus.
Solid technical background (e.g., Physics, Electrical Engineering) enabling a deep understanding of quantum technologies and our offerings.
Strategic mindset with hands-on expertise in account planning frameworks (e.g., LAMP) and a history of driving revenue growth.
Excellent communicator, negotiator, and relationship builder, with a deeply collaborative and customer-centric approach.
Analytical and highly self-driven, skilled in forecasting, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement.
