      Job Description

      EMEA Recruitment has partnered with a dynamic, international consumer goods organization in its search for a Key Account Manager.

      Our client operates within a fast-paced and highly competitive environment, managing a portfolio of well-established brands across multiple international markets.

      While the role is based in Switzerland, it has a strong commercial focus on the Austrian market, managing key national retail customers and driving growth within that region.

      The organization is focused on driving commercial excellence across all sales channels, strengthening customer partnerships, and expanding market presence.

      As the Key Account Manager, you will play a key role in managing national retail customers and driving commercial performance. You will translate strategic objectives into actionable customer plans, deliver tailored growth initiatives, and take full ownership of P&L performance to support revenue growth.

      This role is based in Zurich, Switzerland (Hybrid).

      Responsibilities of the Key Account Manager:

      • Own and manage key national customer accounts, ensuring strong and consistent relationships
      • Take responsibility for budget planning, tracking, and compliance (including annual agreements and listings)
      • Lead regular customer interactions and annual business reviews
      • Monitor and deliver against sales and contribution margin targets
      • Continuously analyze and improve sales and profitability performance
      • Optimize distribution, assortment, placement, and pricing strategies
      • Initiate, evaluate, and improve promotional activities to drive growth
      • Execute business strategies in alignment with key account objectives

      Strategic Customer Management

      • Build a deep understanding of customer needs and requirements
      • Monitor market trends and share insights with internal stakeholders

      Skills & Experience:

      • Bachelor-s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent qualification)
      • 3-5 years of experience in Sales, Key Account Management, Category Management, Trade Marketing, or related roles
      • At least 2+ years of experience in Key Account Management within FMCG
      • Strong knowledge of the Austrian retail landscape and key decision-makers
      • Experience working with Nielsen and/or GfK data, with strong analytical capabilities
      • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
      • Business fluent German and English
