Lab Technician in Functional Urology
The Department of Urology at the University Hospital of Bern is looking for you!
What you can expect
- Perform biological and molecular biology experiments (Cell culture, RNA/DNA/protein analyses, PCR, Western blot, sequencing, flow cytometry)
- Conduct animal experiments (Experimentation, care, handling, documentation)
- Manage laboratory orders, inventory, financial routines
- Support experiment planning and collaborate closely with scientists
- Ensure laboratory organisation, quality and safety standards
Your Profile
- Completed training as a laboratory technician in biology or equivalent qualification
- Solid knowledge of biological and molecular biology techniques
- Experience in animal work (LTK,FELASA or equivalent)
- Strong organisational skills, experience in ordering and finances
- Excellent teamwork and communication in an interdisciplinary environment
- Good German and English (spoken and written)
