You lead the system design of a DC-DC power converter for next-generation direct current data center architectures, covering specification, testing and qualification.

Tasks

• Lead power electronics system design, specification, testing and qualification of DC-DC converter sub-systems
• Cover phases from conceptual system design integration to final validation in R&D labs
• Focus on qualification and productization in collaboration with control hardware, software, mechanical and V&V functions
• Collaborate technically with program manager, product architect, research scientist and other stakeholders
• Contribute to maintenance and further development of power electronics technology expertise, including IP and standards activities

Profile

• University Master's degree or PhD in electrical engineering with focus on power electronics
• More than 5 years of experience in power electronics system design and development
• Experience with high power and medium voltage converters is an advantage
• Experience leading and organizing technical backlogs for R&D teams
• Experience in modelling, simulation and power electronics system analysis using engineering design tools
• Fluent written and spoken English; German is a plus
• Availability to travel sporadically
