JOB PURPOSE
Aiglon College is an international boarding school based in the Swiss Alps with a worldwide reputation for providing a challenging and transformational holistic education in an inspiring setting within a safe, caring and supportive framework. The School is CIS accredited, and caters for 480 students aged 7-18 representing 70 nations. Our distinct learning philosophy begins in the Junior School, through to the Senior School where students prepare for Cambridge IGCSEs and the IB Diploma Programme.
The School wishes to appoint, from August 2026, a Learning Support Assistant to work closely on a one-to-one basis with a senior school student who has a neurodiverse learning profile. This role will focus on supporting the student’s access to the curriculum, organisation, independence, and social-emotional wellbeing within the senior school environment.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with teachers, the Learning Support team, pastoral staff, and parents to ensure the student can fully participate in the academic and community life of the school. Experience working with neurodiverse learners (for example Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, executive functioning differences, or specific learning needs) would be a distinct advantage.
It is expected that this post will involve supporting approximately 25-35 hours per week. This is a term-time only position.
