Description du poste

To join the legal team of our client, we are looking for a Legal Counsel

Main responsibilities

-Drafting and reviewing commercial contracts (e.g., sponsorship, media rights, licensing) as well as event-related agreements (e.g., hosting, service providers).

-Overseeing the organisation's insurance programme, including review of event-related policies and management of claims.

-Managing trademark protection efforts for the organisation's visual identity and related assets.

-Handling debt recovery procedures.

-Drafting, reviewing and updating regulations applicable to the organisation's various activities.

-Managing commercial registry publications for the organisation and its affiliated entities.

-Conducting legal research and preparing memos on various topics.

-Collaborating closely with internal departments by advising on regulatory matters and helping manage disputes involving external stakeholders.

-Providing legal support to the Head of Legal and Compliance on diverse subjects.

Profile:

-Holder of a law degree

-Working experience as a legal counsel (2 years minimum)

-Outstanding command of French and English, both written and spoken

-Working experience in sports administration an asset

-Ability to synthesise and analyse

-Ability to communicate and share information effectively

-Organised, thorough and able to work under pressure

-Ability to set priorities and comply with deadlines

-Keen sense of service and confidentiality

-Team spirit

Holder of bar exam an asset
