At Zurich Insurance we are looking for a model developer for the Actuarial Model Development Team in Bratislava. Our team helps to develop and optimize Prophet cash-flow models across the Zurich Insurance Group. The role is ideal for candidates with life actuarial experience who would want to further develop their modelling knowledge in Prophet and face diverse challenges

As a Life Actuarial Model Developer, your main responsibilities will involve:

• Developing, optimizing and maintaining actuarial projection models in Life insurance
• Developing supporting applications that provide data to the actuarial projection models
• Automating and optimizing reporting processes across different business units

Your Skills and Experience

• As a Life Actuarial Model Developer, your skills and experience will ideally include:
• At least 2 years of practical experience in life actuarial area and analytics in a similar field
• University degree in actuarial science, finance, statistics, mathematics, or similar
• Good communication skills, fluent in English
• Creative, open-minded, and proactive approach
• Experience with programming in any language is an advantage
• Experience with the actuarial software Prophet Professional is an advantage

• In accordance with the EU Pay Transparency Directive, the minimum gross annual compensation for this position, determined based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, is 2 200 EUR/gross. The final compensation package will depend on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience
