As a Market Surveillance Officer, you will be part of the Market Compliance Function of the Bank
Monitor and analyse clients’ securities trading activities
Identify and analyse potential prohibited market conduct cases (insider trading and market manipulation)
Investigate alerts generated by surveillance systems
Prepare suspicious activity reports and escalate findings where appropriate
Maintain accurate documentation and audit trails of surveillance reviews and investigations
Assist in regulatory reporting and communication with authorities when required
Contribute to the development and improvement of market surveillance controls and tools
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and counterparties
Qualifications
Ideally Master Degree in Economics or Law
At least one year of experience in the financial/audit sector or a similar role
Fluent in English and French
Excellent knowledge of financial markets, financial products and trading activities
Self-motivated and passionate about macroeconomics and the financial industry
Strong teamworking and collaboration skills
Ability to monitor own workload and meet work objectives
