Main responsibilities include preparing and conducting model tests, performing calibrationof required instruments, ensuring the quality of data acquisition, writing measurement reports, and contributing to performance analyses.
      • Manage the maintenance of the experimental infrastructure and ensure the proper operation and reliability of the testing platforms.
      • Participate in the continuous improvement of the installations, including mechanical, electrical, software, and metrological adaptations.
      • Support the design and development of mechanical components and instrumentation according to the needs of research activities and industrial mandates.
      • Ensure the quality of services by defining and implementing processes and conducting root cause analyses when issues arise.
      • Support the training of new test engineers and assist with practical laboratory sessions for EPFL students.
      • Occasionally conduct test monitoring and validation activities at partner laboratories or directly at hydropower plant sites.
