Portfolio Manager / Analyst - Medtech / Healthcare Sector

As Portfolio Manager / Analyst at MIV Asset Management AG, a subsidiary of Bank J. Safra Sarasin you are focused on the Medtech sector and responsible for: identifying high conviction stock ideas, conducting portfolio management and risk management activities, being part of MIV Asset Management team.

• Analyze and select stocks in the Medtech sector for a concentrated global equity portfolio of high conviction ideas
• Discuss and present your investment cases to the MIV team
• Help in portfolio construction and manage a global medtech fund together with the MIV team
• Perform reporting and administrative tasks in an efficient and effective way
• Present the MIV global medtech fund to clients
• Develop analytical tools and improve existing investment processes

• 5-10 years of experience in the field of equity analysis and portfolio management with exposure to the medtech sector
• University degree in a relevant field
• Industry specific knowledge is required
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, experience with Bloomberg
• Quantitative analysis experience and knowledge of Python or other programming languages will be considered as a plus
• Capability to work independently
• Hands-on mentality as well as excellent communication and presentation skills
• Fluency in German and English
