Process Development Engineer Emission Abatement (30%)
This position actively supports the decarbonization of the maritime industry with a focus on reducing CO2 emissions and develop abatement technologies for both present and future fuels
With the ability to generate greenhouse gas-reduced propulsion power, WinGD helps its customers utilize energy sources with minimal environmental impact
To ensure the safety of the crew, ship, and the environment, the abatement technologies must meet various criteria and requirements set by maritime classification societies
In this role, you will develop the necessary emission abatements solutions to make the engine sustainable, safe, reliable, efficient, and easy to manufacture and maintain
Research on exhaust gas pretreatment enabling CO2 capture
Support the development of emission abatement technologies for both current and future fuels
You participate in development and integration of hardware components for emission abatement technologies, supported by an experienced and motivated team
Requirements
Bachelor’s or ongoing master’s degree in process, mechanical engineering or similar technical field
Experience or interest in post combustion emission abatement technology, preferable in Carbon Capture, Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology and beyond
English, good German of advantage
